An exclusive day trip to Utiel-Requena, a wine-growing area of the Valencian community; your guide is a sommelier specialised in Valencian wines. We leave from Valencia city, and first go to the old town of Requena, to visit some 10th century wine caves that for centuries had been used to store grains, meat, olive oil, and wine... and we'll finish the visit with a wine tasting. From Requena we go to Utiel, to visit a winery for a guided tour, and we will try some of its wines made with the Bobal grape, the native grape of the area. At about 14:00 we will go for lunch at a restaurant in one of the villages in the area. We are flexible: you can change the experience as you like... different wine regions, more wineries, organic wineries, gourmet lunch, whatever you prefer!
